Anyone with similar experiences? :(

Gu

Alright, so I’ve got PCOS, and I had the “normal” heavier period about a month after the bloody mess I had after I gave birth (10 months ago). And I had a few light periods spread out over the next few months. No biggie, I’m a breastfeeding/pumping mom, right? All’s well and normal. WELP, towards the middle of September I had a 10 day PERIOD. (Still pumping regular sessions!) and it’s over and I’m thinking wow alright, that was pretty weird for me (I’ve NEVER had longer than an 8 day period). Ok, so about 9 days AFTER that, BAM, I literally had a 28 day period. Bleeding EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. UHM. What the actual frickfrack. It wasn’t “heavy” but it wasn’t light either. I couldn’t use a panty liner for a single day towards the end of it which was annoying🙄 I literally had to use overnights with wings cuz I was just leaking all over the place. This isn’t normal. Especially after giving birth, I’m pumping and everything :( so my periods should be regular, light, or non existent. Towards the end of this period I ended up getting a Norovirus, and a bacterial and viral version of ecoli, AT THE SAME TIME as being on my period. I wound up in the freaking hospital guys. I was so dehydrated I couldn’t stand! I was throwing up literally green, I couldn’t keep anything down, not even a sip of water! And I was so exhausted and in pain! It was probably the worst experience thus far after having my gallbladder removed 14 days after giving birth. I was SUPER contagious and they recommended I not hold my baby:( I couldn’t cook or eat or anything. And the strange thing was it took 8 days for the diarrhea and stomach pain to stop, when the “normal” is 1-3 days.. SOOO IDK WTF. And while I was in the ER and hooked to the blood pressure/pulse machine, my blood pressure was super low! Like 86/54 low, and my pulse was super fast/high. So they were alarmed. But once I explained how long my period had been going on and I was 10 months postpartum, they co fined I was FREAKING HEMORRHAGING!!! So that’s terrifying. I’ve got an appointment with my obgyn on the 19th :( the worst part was I couldn’t even get a pelvic exam because of how contagious I was, I couldn’t even pump while I was there too, I kept having to use the bathroom so I couldn’t sit/lay for a session! So that was horrible, I went from pumping 36 oz a day, to literally 6!!!! And then when I came home I was still dehydrated so I was pumping .5 oz a 20 min session! I was devastated! My milk stash dwindled alarmingly fast and I’m working my ass off to bring it back up past 10 bags. It’s been hard, exhausting and devastating. My nipples are painfully sore. I’m really scared to find out why I was bleeding so much. Or hemorrhaging. Ovarian cancer runs in my family. I’m only 26. I haven’t been having an easy go at life lately, it’s been really tough. Has anyone had any similar bleeding experiences? The ecoli was just dumb luck that made my period worse. I was in the ER all bloody and a hot mess. I hadn’t showered in 4 days and I kept almost crapping the bed it was so bad! I hope this never happens again dear god.
