Endometriosis?

Hi Ladies! I am suppose to start my period in 4 days and tonight I experienced bad cramping. I logged it in Glow and it mentioned cramping before your period can often mean you suffer from endometriosis. I googled it and now I'm a little freaked out. I have been cramping before my period for a while and just Assumed that was completely normal. When I first start my period a lot of times it can be painful to pee but that's just for the first day. I always Assumed it was just related to the cramping and normal. When I googled endometriosis that was one of the other symptoms of it. Does anyone have any insight on this?

You'll have to see your doctor to get the diagnosis. They will have to do a minor surgery to check on the Endo tissue and they will even take some off to help with pain! 
I was diagnosed with it when I was 18.  It absolutely sucks. But the surgery will help and they will get you on birth control to help damper the symptoms and slow down the Endo growth.

I have it, I've had two laproscopys, I don't find the pain terrible until I need to go to the toilet whilst on my period...impossible! But with endo the amount of pain doesn't always correlate with the severity of the condition, so defo worth getting checked out, if the endo is really bad or causing 'structural damage' they may well pick it up on a scan before having to do a laproscopy. There are lots of treatments available if you do have it, and don't read all the horror stories on the net! Lots of people have it and don't realise and go on to have lots of children x

That don't mean you have endometriosis.I always have pain before my period .That's how I know when my period is about to come on.

I have it and cramps were terrible. Lots of pain meds and they finally put me on meds for PMDD. But I know a lot of girls who cramp and don't have endometriosis.

You could have it, but Dr's can help so much now, don't worry. I've got endometriosis- was diagnosed with it when I was 16 @ school as I kept fainting with the pain (along with other symptoms). I've been able to manage it with exercise/rest and sometimes  painkillers. Go to see ur Dr; they can test u with an ultra sound and then laparoscopy if necessary. Good luck.
