Bleeding 5 weeks 1 day.

Used the bathroom with morning and when I wiped I had this. Nothing on my underwear. No cramping, pain, or backache. Have been spotting brown and pink on and off for about a week but nothing has been on my underwear. My doc says spotting is normal, even red as long as you dont have cramps or pain and its not enough to fill a pad. But is this much normal?? My hcg levels have been rising appropriately and I dont have to get them check anymore they said. Very nervous since my last pregnancy ended up being a blighted ovum.
