So a couple weeks ago I started going to a new primary care doctor because the last time I seen my ex doctor he was extremely rude and negative, so I broke up with him 🤣 anyways I went from bad to worse. I have hypothyroidism and I was almost out of my medicine (Levothyroxine) so I made an appointment with the new doctors office, my appointment was at 2:00 pm I didn’t get seen until 4:00 pm. I was beyond frustrated. The doctor finally came in, he was very nice, answered all of my questions. I told him I was almost out of medicine so he wrote me one 30 day refill and told me that I needed to get blood work done before he would prescribe me more refills just to see how I’m doing fine understandable. The lab lady wasn’t there that day so I came back a couple days later and got blood work done. Fast forward a week and a half later & I hadn’t heard from them about my blood test results so I called them about it...which kinda rubbed me the wrong way because they’re supposed to call me about it. But anyways the lady said “oh okay I’ll check on that and call you back” well she never called back so later that day I called again and spoke to a different lady in the office and she looked them up and told me that everything looked fine, so while I had her on the phone I told her about how I was only given 30 day fill and needed more refills she said alright I’ll get on that, I told her which pharmacy to send it too. So I waited about 45 minutes and called the pharmacy to see if they had received the refills yet, the pharmacy tech said they hadn’t received anything yet and that it can take a couple hours to get it after it’s sent. So then I called the doctors office back and again spoke to a different person (every time I call someone different answers the phone) and I asked her if she could check if anything had been SENT to the pharmacy and she said no, but that she would do it right after we got off the phone. So anyways a couple days later I called the pharmacy expecting to have refills waiting for me and they said nope we don’t have anything so I explained that I’m having trouble getting refills from this doctors office and that I’m frustrated and if they could do anything to help me, so she said “we will send them a fax and leave them a message letting them know” okay cool beans. So I called the doctors office Monday morning once again about my refills and again got a different person and he said that the Dr. that I saw wasn’t going to be in until Wednesday (today) but that he would leave a note for him. Okay so this morning I called back because I know that my Dr. is in today and so I explained again that I was calling about refills for my Levothyroxine and that I was told my lab results came back fine and that I would get more refills after the blood work. She said that the lady who told me my lab results came back fine wasn’t supposed to do that and that I have to make a another 🤬 appointment to meet with a doctor to discuss my lab results before he’ll prescribe me more medicine. Wtf? No one else said anything about that the other 100 times I called about the matter. I told her that that’s bullshit and I’m not making an appointment to discuss labs that I was already told were completely fine. I was told by the doctor that he would give me more medicine after the labs came back he said nothing about an appointment to discuss the results. I asked to speak to someone else and so she put me on hold, I was on hold for like 25 minutes obviously they forgot about me. So then I hung up and called back and she answered and said that she was going to give me a call back in a little bit well I’m not going to hold my damn breath that’s for sure. Then in between all of this bullshit I had an appointment to get a Pap done but I started my rag so I called and canceled the appointment and told them I would call and reschedule later, then the morning of the appointment I canceled a lady called me and said that they didn’t have a female doctor available for my pap?! I said I called and canceled this appointment 3 days ago. How fucking disorganized are they?! Omfg 🙄 how hard is it to send some refills in?! I’m going to get my refills and then I’m telling them I’m never coming back and going to a new doctor I can’t go with out my medication. How much you wanna bet that they don’t call me back today? 🙄 I’m frustrated, aggravated, and pissed off.

UPDATE: So yea they never called me back like I figured. So I tried calling them and every time I’d try to call they wouldn’t pick up, so I called the pharmacy next door (they’re connected) to ask if the office was still open because their hours aren’t posted on Google she said they are still open & I was like so why tf aren’t they answering their phones and went on to explain the situation (I kinda lost it a lil bit 😅🤷🏼‍♀️) and she said that she could print off my lab results and give it to the doctor and have him look at it and decide if he wants to write refills. (Why wouldn’t he have already looked at the results when they first came back, no one told me I’d have to make another appointment after the blood work to discuss the blood work and wtf is there to discuss everything came back fine so 🤷🏼‍♀️ ) so I told her that wether he decides to give me refills or not idgaf I’m not done with this doctors office. Then I asked her if she could just get my lab results and print them off and if I could just pick them up from her because I don’t even set foot back into that poor excuse for a doctors office. She said she would look into it and so I called this morning and she has my results sitting there and I’m going to pick them up this afternoon. Thank God bc I’m taking those labs and I’m going somewhere else. Somewhere far far away.
