Was the APP estimated due date the same as the actual estimated due date?

I just found out I'm pregnant, the app says 4 weeks 3 day. I haven't seen my doctor yet! I know I ovulated late (CD21). But I know the estimated due date is based off your last period.... is this true then even if I ovulated later??

If you logged your start dates and ends dates of your period then it is. Mine was.

I’m due 6 days before the estimation of this app. However chances are you won’t give birth on your actual predicted due date !

They go off the ultrasound. They don’t go off when you think you ovulated because it can vary so much. But if your ultrasound and lmp are within a couple days they usually stick with the lmp. But every doctor does things a little differently .

I ovulated a week late with this pregnancy. Technically by my last period I should be due this week. But I’m due October 28th. The first US was able to confirm. And knowing this information helped my mindset. So no, your due date should not be based off of your last period. :)
