Baby Shower!

Baby Showers aren't as big a thing here (Ireland) as they are in other parts of the world, so just wondering. Those of you who are having a baby shower, are you having it in your house, in your friends house, or at a venue? I'm trying to decide where it should be because so far my guest list has 24 people plus myself and my partner. That seems like a lot of people to have it in my house, but I think it could be a lot of hassle, plus expensive to have it in a venue...
