Water and glucose test
I have my 3hr glucose test and i have to fast for 16 hrs prior and only allowed miniminal water during 16 hr fast. Has anyone been told the reasoning for minimal water? I am a nurse and I have never been told to tell patients to restrict water during fast so in just curious the reasoning behind it.
