Creative ideas to freeze breast milk while traveling?

Hi everyone,

I have an extremely low supply of milk. My daughter had to be supplemented for the first month while I worked with lactation consultants and my midwife trying everything to get my supply up. I’m taking supplements and pumping round the clock after feeds. She has been exclusively breastfeeding for the last 2 1/2 weeks and I couldn’t be prouder. All the tears and the pain and the tubes and the time were worth it.

My husband and I are planning to go on our anniversary trip to the Bahamas for 5 days. We will not be bringing our daughter. She will unfortunately have to have formula and the little bit of breast milk I managed to collect.

Obviously, i will be bringing my pump and pumping regularly to keep my supply up. My question is, does anyone know of any way I could keep the breast milk and bring it back for her to have? I’m going to call the hotel, but if they can’t give me access to a freezer does anyone know of any products or techniques I could use to safely store the milk and travel back with it?
