Baby measuring small?

Question

Today I went for my diabetic OB appointment and they told me baby is measuring small. That immediately got me tearful as I am gestational diabetic and have been on a strict diet to control my sugars. Always was told baby shouldn’t get too bug and now she’s saying baby is small? 
Scheduled for an early sono on Tuesday.  Hope everything is ok with baby. 
Any other ladies here face this issue?

My girl measured small the entire time. I had scans constantly... my uterus also measured 3-4 weeks behind. My baby was born on time weighing 7.5 pounds. I worried for nothing. It’s hard to tell how big they are. Sending you calming thoughts💕

Sending positive vibes mama!!! And I too and GD but my lil girl is measuring 4 weeks ahead so I'm getting induced on the 24 because she is too big and it can be risky 😣

I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant I should be measuring at 9 weeks. Doctor said he has seen this before. I’m getting weekly ultrasound to make sure everything goes well

Baby measured a week behind until the second trimester when he caught up.
Doctor was never worried, it happens more often than you think, even more if you don't know exactly when you ovulated.
