Waking from naps?

Question

Do you ladies wake your babies from day time naps? I try not to let my son go over 3.5 hours without eating during the day but so many people say to not wake them during the day either to help better night time sleep patterns. Any input?

I never woke mine up. If the baby is at a good weight then there is no need to wake them

I only woke my daughter up in the beginning to help her learn night and day. Once she started sleeping for longer stretches at night, I stopped waking her up during the day

I never woke my two and won't wake this one. They will wake when hungry and need their sleep

I woke mine every 3 hours until she hit birth weight again, then I let her sleep! I’ve heard sleep=sleep, if they’re napping good during the day, they’ll sleep good at night. Not sure how true that really is, but I always worried when my daughter would take long naps that she wouldn’t sleep well at night, but it hasn’t really affected her any, she seems to sleep the same!

Only if I need to from his last nap of the day, so he’s ready for bedtime on time.
