The importance of quite time ...

Am I her only momma that presses the issue of quiet time?

My son is constantly asking to do something. Constantly.

During the week he has school so what I allow him to do varies. But during the weekend I make it a point for him to have some time to relax.

Sometimes I’m just like .. find a nice happy place for you & sit or lay ... & do nothing. I don’t mind if he plays or looks at books during .. but I do make it a point for him to relax.

He has severe apraxia of speech & I’m currently in the process of having him diagnosed for any learning or autistic bonuses.

It can really wear on a mother watching their child struggle in so many ways. I always want him to see the bigger picture. His reflection time will be a solid skill in the years to come.
