Too bulky? Using ecoable all in one for 3 month old

This is my 3rd baby, but first try with cloth diapers.

So as the title says, i have ecoable all in one cloth diapers insert made of charcoal and bamboo. Says it fits babies 10-35 lbs.

My baby boy is 3 months old and weighs roughly 14 lbs. I could barely get his jammies on over this diaper! I did put the insert in since it's for overnight, not completely sure if it's needed. I watched a YouTube review of these and they raved about it! The MANY reviews on Amazon also rave about it. I feel like I must be doing something wrong?

Also, how often do these need to be changed?
