When to test!?

So I just finished my fertile time and my husband and I actually did the deed when we were supposed to. I was now just wondering when should I test? We have a 3 year old but I missed my period didn't realize and tested it was very easy. We have had to actually try to get pg this time. I of course am so anxious but don't want to test too soon and get my hopes up! Thanks all!
