Any moms give birth at 35-36 weeks? What should I expect?

This is my 3rd pregnancy but the others were so easy and normal. I have had high blood pressure, severe dehydration, severe weight loss, I am getting dizzy and seeing blurry. I'm afraid the dr. will take my baby early and I want her to be as healthy as possible. I visited the Dr Friday and they told me they would like me to make it to 37 weeks atleast before I have her. I have already dialated 3 cm and 30% effaced. I am having strong pains in my back and wonder if she came now (35 weeks) what type of obstacles will we be facing? She is 6 1/2 lbs (not sure if it makes a difference)

I gave birth to my second child at 35 weeks. After one round of steroid injections, he had a 12 day NICU stay. His NICU stay was only so long because he was a boy and boys typically don’t do as well in the NICU as girls do. My first was born at 34 weeks and she only stayed 9 days.

I delivered at 35 weeks to a 6 pound 14 oz baby boy and he was healthy. Never had to do nicu time. They kept him in the nursery for monitoring most of that day, but was able to come to our room that evening. I also had high blood pressure and ended up going into labor on my own. Not sure if the BP has anything to do with it? But he just turned 2 and we’ve not faced any medical issues. He’s healthy and 
smart as can be! Good luck to you and just remember the hospital staff will do what’s best!
