Tattoo healing process

Okay maybe y’all can help. I got my shin/ankle tattood about two weeks ago. And I am going on a trip tomorrow and I HAVE to wear leggings or pants. It’s my senior class picnic and it’s going to be 40-50° max. And so is it okay for me to wear leggings now? I’ve been wearing shorts and honestly this lovely southern weather just keeps biting me in the butt because it’s so dang cold. Any tips? Can I wear leggings now? Boots?
