6wks & wanting to lose weight

I’m 5’5 and I weigh 176lbs

I have been on and off with the gym since June and I really wanna try to lose weight. I have noticed I’ve gotten getting bigger these last few weeks but I’m not even eating more than I usually do. My doctor said working out is okay for me, but I just don’t know where to start lol

Is there anything that I CAN do during these next few weeks?
