Omg, so I just wanted to post this and get other people’s opinions. So my boyfriend and I have been dating since about January. We’ve been dating on and off since my freshman year of high school (I graduated in 2015) and we broke up for a couple of months last year (he had just recently started to work on the pipeline for the first time and had recently finished buying an old camper and basically pipelining runs in his family) because the money he was earning went to his head and started to treat me like crap(he has never acted like that before and hasn’t since) so I decided to move back to the next state over where we actually lived and he ended up breaking up with me.

During the time we were broke up his mom basically told him he was being an ass and made him realize that he was in the wrong and he told her how he wanted me back and so and so. We did have some arguments between them because I had started talking to another guy while we were broke up and ended up admitting to me he had planned on proposing to me on Christmas and so and so.

We got back together in January as I said and we did have a pregnancy scare but it ended in a miscarriage a few days after I found out. But now we live about a thousand miles away from home in his dads old camper that he gave us and obviously it’s been almost a year we’ve been together. So about a week ago we were talking something about how I had spent a little too much money on something (only in my opinion) that I had bought with his debit card(I stay at home and clean and take care of the animals and cook so I don’t really have time for a job and he knows that) and he said something along the lines that “if you think that’s expensive, wait till you see your Christmas present” and I was just surprised that he had already got something because he usually doesn’t plan ahead on things especially presents for people and I asked him about it and obviously he wasn’t going to tell me but he said he has it in a place where I’m not going to hide it and I asked if it was somewhere in the camper and he said no.

I have a suspicion that he might propose. I know that I’m probably way overthinking and I’m not going to get my hopes up because even if he doesn’t I will still love him and continue being with him obviously but I just wanted other people’s opinions. Please no rude comments, I just want to know what you would think if you were in that situation similar to that
