My guy just turned 20 months, he loves his books and as my husband and i have always been big readers, our son has quite a large book collection. He has several favorites here are a few,Night Night TrainWhere do Diggers Sleep at Night?The Big Red BarnTootSesame Street's Nap TimeTime for a NapI also try to get books for the season we are in so we have been reading a lot of fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving books. He also loves the Where is Baby's ____? series, right now we are reading Where is Baby's Pumpkin? He definitely does better with board books because he can't bend the pages and he can easily turn the pages, which he loves to do. I think reading is so important and part of his nap and bedtime routine, he knows when we read it's time to settle down.

My little guy is just about 22 months, but we’ve been reading most of these with him since he was about 5 months old and he still loves them. He also really loves the old national geographic pop up animal books (ones published 1980-1990 ish). They’re great and you can find them really cheap but in great condition on Amazon.
