Swollen ankles?

My ankles and legs are so swollen today. Is that something you’d call your doctor about? I’ve had some swelling but today is way worse.

Mine got really bad at about 34 weeks, if i sit for long periods of time (like at a desk) it’s 100x worse. Elevate them, limit salt, my doctor tells me to drink a gallon of water a day, and try compression socks (:

I agree with drinking more water, it’s the only thing that helps me.

I called mine because they were itching really bad. They always tell me the swelling is normal though. I would just wait until your next appointment unless you are also really itchy.

Elevate your feet above your heart for a few hours, have SO massage them gently and drink water. Should help the swelling go down.
My feet ankles and now even my lower legs are retaining so much water it’s ridiculous. They get sore and tender. My doctor never seems worried since my blood pressure has been normal.

Keep your feet raised, and just monitor them. It's normal for them to swell but if it doesn't go down then maybe contact your doctor. Near the end they look a little swollen which I believe is just water retention.

If they look abnormally swollen I would call or head into L&D because it could be preeclampsia
