PP bleeding....

So I'm almost 2 weeks pp first time mom. My bleeding was very light / minimal since I had been home, switched to regular always pads after a day or two. Now day 11/12 I feel like my bleeding as picked up and I've been more crampy. Had to switch to heavier pads. The bleeding is like a period flow but the blood is like a dark red/ bright red color and kinda mucusy when i "dab to dry" . It's gross. I know everyone bleeds differently but just not sure of that is considered normal. Everywhere I read online says it should be a light pink color after 5 days....? Thoughts?
