Apps for heartbeat?

Has anyone tried the apps for baby’s heartbeat? I’m wondering if they work most say 16+ weeks and Wednesday I’ll be 16 weeks my boyfriend hasn’t been able to come to the appointments due to work and I want him to hear it also.

No. Apps can’t detect heartbeat. Idk what they do, but they make something come up to make it seem like they work. Phones are not Doppler’s.

Internet says a stethoscope can hear it around 20 weeks I got one today it was only $10

I tried one the other day after using my own doppler and I think it worked but idk lol. The sounds you get from bumping the phone and the “heartbeat” sound so similar. Im 23 weeks btw. Just get a doppler!! Mine was 35$ and I was able to find the baby’s heartbeat from 8w4d.

My doctors office allowed me to make a video of the heartbeat with my phone so my son could hear it. Just record it :)
