Exploratory laparotomy.. help please.
I have a 15x8x12cm ovarian mucinous cystadenoma, I met with the oncologist surgeon last week and he booked my surgery for next Thursday, I will be 14 weeks. He said he will be taking the left ovary, tube and appendix with the cyst and doing a biopsy while I'm asleep. Has anyone had this? How was recovery? I also have a 2.5 year old, this will be my first time away from her, when should I be able to pick her up after surgery.
