Anyone else not big on Halloween?

😬 I feel weird because my husband and I just don’t really care for it. We aren’t into it. So our kids are gonna be 3 in December and they haven’t celebrated once yet 🤷🏽‍♀️. What do you guys think of when people don’t celebrate? If you don’t celebrate either, how do you explain that when it comes up in conversation?

I don’t care about Valentine’s Day. If it comes up, I tell people id rather have meaningful romance throughout the year than force it on a day when everyone else is out doing the same and making everywhere crowded. If you don’t care for Halloween that’s fine. But later on if your kids want to participate, maybe you’ll find a way to let them have fun somehow.

I don’t care much for candy or trick or treating but I LOVE decorating for Halloween. Now me, I’m weird too coz I dislike Christmas. It teaches kids to be greedy & expect presents.

Same here hun.. we take our boys to a Halloween party only because they ask to go trick and treating and I don’t agree with asking strangers for sweets. So they get dressed up for couple hours and have fun with other kids at a party.. they 3 and 9.. 😊
