Best not to. They can show you how at the hospital, and it can send you into labor. I'm sure you're ready to be done! But it's better for baby to come when ready.

Yes it may cause contractions. There is no need to pump actually, as your colostrum will only be available when the placenta detaches. So there’s no need to pump before baby is born

It can cause contractions. If your dr okays it to try to induce labor, go for it but if they don’t, don’t do it. My dr said not to because they have no way to monitor the contractions and they can become way too intense and cause problems. Obviously after the baby’s born you want the contractions like that to shrink your uterus back ASAP but you definitely don’t before hand
