When did you tell work about your pregnancy

😊😊😊 ladies I’m 16 weeks next week and my midwife booked me in for antenal classes I should tell work now ?? I’m guessing but nervous first baby what did you all say ? I have speak to HR Manager do I just say “hey I’m pregnant “ 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😊

I worked as a CNA in a nursing home. So I told them as soon as it was confirmed. Only cause of all the lifting and transporting we had to do. Wanted to be sure I could have the help I may need. But you tell them when you are ready. Lol. Better do it soon though or baby will do it for you. Lol.

I told them at 6 weeks cause I was really getting sick like 24\7  and I could hardly get up and walk without throwing up so I had to ask for a job sitting down until I couldn't even make it to work and ended up getting fired..

I told them at 23 weeks . I told them I needed maternity leave paper so that’s how they found out . I also don’t see my bosses unless I go to the office which is barley.

I told my two bosses at about 11 weeks (they were at my wedding where we announced). But i work at a job where i currently need out of the field and a more relaxed/desk job for the time being.

I told my manager at 7 weeks just in case I had any sickness or problems throughout pregnancy.  I just said I need a word so we went into a private area and I said “I’m pregnant” 😅 they’ve been super supportive so I reckon the sooner you tell them the better so you’re covered for all your appointments and things!

I told my company around 8 weeks because we had a big event coming up where everyone is expected to work 18 hour days for a week and I wanted slack in my schedule.
With my immediate boss, I was like "I have great news! I'm pregnant!"
With his boss, I waited until I had an excuse to talk about the future of my career and how I want a promotion and threw in an "oh by the way I'm pregnant" so he would know I'm definitely not planning to leave (good news--i might be getting a promotion out of it while I'm pregnant 😊)
With HR, I was like "I'd like to have a meeting so I can fully understand the maternity benefits the company offers as well as what my responsibilities will be with regards to my maternity leave'

I told my manager around 15 weeks. I work in healthcare with around 95% female employees... were always pregnant lol no biggie!
There was 6 of us who had babies over the summer. 
In Canada we have 12-18 months maternity leave so they had a lot of temporary staff to hire to replace us while were off

I told my boss as soon as it was confirmed because I worked in the back of a building lifting and pulling heavy things.. and the pregnancy before this one I failed to tell them right away and I had a miscarriage..
