Pregnant again after recent miscarriage?

I had a confirmed miscarriage October 15th at 7 weeks. This morning I got a positive pregnancy test. I was just wondering if this is left over HCG or possibly a new pregnancy. Anyone have any stories either way for me?

It could be either. I had positive test results for a LONG time after my miscarriage. I think it was 8 weeks... can’t quite remember now. Test again in a week and if it’s new it’ll be darker. If it isn’t it will be paler.

I had a miscarriage June 4th, had one period, and was pregnant again in July. Have you had your levels checked? Your doctor will be able to tell you if its leftover HCG or if you’re pregnant.

I had a miscarriage the first week of Nov back in 2013, then found out in December I was pregnant and had our son in August 2014. Apparently you can be extremely fertile right after a miscarriage
