Should I avoid sex?

Twice now after I have sex with my boyfriend, the next day a small piece of what seems to be my mucus plug comes out . Should I avoid having sex? I’m 22 weeks . The first time this happened was at 20 weeks. (I’ve let my OB know the first time it happened and I’m aware it can regenerate) also, there’s no excessive cramping or blood in the pieces that have come out. This happen to anyone else ?
