First Period? Or spotting? 11 weeks pp

I was cramping really bad yesterday but thought it was just due to my husband putting laxative in my drink (funny story). It stopped this morning. I just went to the bathroom and when i wiped it was a streak of light red. I didn't believe it lol i peed and wiped again. Light pink. Before getting pregnant my periods were really irregular and usually heavy/dark. Have your periods came back the same as they were or different after having your baby? How do I tell if it's just spotting? If it only lasts two stays and/or stays light in color?
