Kombucha???
The weather here is Australia is heating up and I am on the lookout for a low sugar, refreshing drink. I usually only ever drink coffee and water, but sometimes I just need something that bit extra.
I tried Kombucha for the first time today and whilst it wasn’t bad, I would liken it to watered down Apple Cidar. It made me wonder, what would be the effect if I drank this on a daily basis? Would it have a nil effect to weight gain, or the opposite, just like high sugar drinks?
What I’m trying to get at is, should I stick to water or will the introduction of a daily Kombucha cause no unwanted health problems?
I’m not too concerned about the gut health benefits of Kombucha as I take pro-biotic everyday.
