Colicky 2 month old
She is so colicky I hate it. The internet says it's an age thing that it starts to go away around 4 months and there's literally nothing you can do for it except wait it out. Everything I've read is that it's normal for them to cry nonstop from 6 weeks to 4 months old with no apparent reason. I have to literally constantly re assure myself everyday that I'm doing everything I can and it's just going to have to pass on it's own. I can't stand hearing her cry and not being able to do anything.
I have tried everything to ease her and seemly nothing helps. It’s worse around 5 pm. But usually is a bottle isn’t in her mouth she’s crying. We have been to the dr and ruled out any health issues and she’s gaining weight well. She sleeps great. Never cries at night and only wake up once to feed. But day time is hellish. She is formula fed on enfamil gentleease.
Please help. I feel like a bad mommy. She doesn’t even want to be held sometimes it’s all I can do to lay her in the bassinet and shut the door for a while while she cries just so I can breath. I never let her go more than an hour or so by herself and I always have the baby monitor on her at all times when she’s in the nursery.
I just don’t want to feel bad about letting her cry it out sometimes. But I do.
