By which week should the baby be in position?

I’m asking because I’m due January 1st but because I’m high risk at my last appointment I was told I would be induced at either 39 or 38 weeks and every ultrasound I’ve had so far my baby has been breeched so I’m asking what’s the cut off point for him to turn in time to have a natural delivery.

I’m 30 weeks and my baby is in position but my doctor said that’s something they don’t even really think about right now just because she still has so much room to turn still.

Mine was breach until 38 weeks so I really wouldn’t worry. Most babies will turn, and in their own time.

My first got into position exactly at 36+6 weeks. Delivered at 40+1. My second stayed breach till 41 weeks and I had an emergency c section

My midwife said if there is a concern it’ll be closer to 36/37 weeks.

I was told they should be head first by 32 weeks and my OB said that they wouldn’t consider turning him until 36 weeks. That’s a procedure they do at the hospital in case something happens and they need to deliver him. Mine was breech at my 20 and 21 week scans and at 28 weeks he was head first
