Almost a year without a period

I'm 16 turning 17 next month and I'm kind of worried/concern about my period. (Keep in mind that I haven't had no sexual activity, or been in a relationship for a while now.) Since, February I haven't got my period and I'm concern that something is wrong with me or my body. I don't live with my mom, I live with my ain't and I've talked. To her about how long I've missed my period now. I haven't been able to make a doctor appointment because I don't have insurance. Is there anything I Dan take or do to get my period back?
