My boyfriend won't delete a picture of him and his ex girlfriend off of instagram. Its a picture of them from homecoming a long time ago.. in the caption it says "I love this picture 😊 #wcw😍 #homecoming2k13" 
He posted it a couple months before we were together. The only reason why it bothers me is because he hasn't posted anything about me and because recently its gotten more attention. Usually I don't really care about social media but this bothers me. I've said something to him about it before and he wouldn't delete it. We've been together a little longer than a year and a half.

Ahem. Memory?? His memory?? Haha. If you want your man to have a memory of some other chick in his life than okay that’s normal for y’all. But if not....ewww. He needs to delete that crap!  Image sure my husband understood that I won’t stand for that kind of crap, hanging on to odor pictures of him and his dumb ex making out (yeah she dumb and I know her).

My boyfriend has pictures of him and his ex on his Facebook. I have one picture of my and my ex on insta. My and my bf have no pictures or each other. Because we both realized showing off your s.o. on social media is completely unnecessary. Better to keep your relationship just between the two of you. Doesnt mean anything that he still has a pic of his ex. And doesnt mean they were happy. For example, my bfs ex was so insanely obsessed with him having pictures of her on facebook, that she would log into his facebook and post pics and make up captions as if he wrote it- which is insane.

I don’t think you should be worried. Iv has pics of my ex on my social media that I wanted to leave on there for reasons that have nothing to do with still having any feelings for him ... itsjust an old memory. Don’t bother him about it anymore. The only thing is he hasn’t posted anything about u yet and it’s been a long year .. just make sure he’s still not friends with this ex. I think it’s just a picture though ... I think if u bring it up again its just going to annoy him and u don’t want to come off that way

Some folks are different about stuff like that. I purged the living shit out of my social media to remove pictures and posts of my ex, meanwhile all of them were still on his account last I heard (he popped up in my current dudes "suggested friends" on Facebook and he decided to be nosey lol) I'd leave it be
