DONG QUAI (effective or not?)?!

Hello!! I am 2 months late of my period. And i already took 5 pregnancy tests and all came out negative. I saw this Dong Quai herbal medicine to induced your menstruation and put your cycle back to normal, I watched the video reviews on YouTube about this product and a lot of people are saying that it’s effective. Now I just want to ask if has anyone tried it and share your experience on trying it. This means a lot to me thank youuu!! 😘😘

I took it and started my period instantly! Also ginger root (shred fresh stuff and make a strong tea by simmering roots in a pot with a lid then straining.)

There’s a list of many herbs that can help. Vitex, Maca, Dong Quai and a few others. I would check with an ND what works best for you and your body. Diet changes can help too.

I took that, among other CTM for a strict month.
I do feel like it helped regulate and ease discomfort during menstruation. 
My periods were “meh, i think ill start sometime in the next 10 days.” to “I’ll start in the next 4 days.”
I was recommended by my friend to go get acupuncture done too. I didn’t though. 
I know it’s not FDA blah blah, and it very well could have been placebo effect, but the herbs I was on along with this one, I felt calm, happy, regulated in every way, my sleep improved greatly, and it just helped me feel-better. 
Ince I was put on FDA approved medication for fertility therapy I made sure the herbs were out of my system though.

Can you see an OB instead? There are medications that can be prescribed to induce a period that are much safer than herbal options that may not be well researched. Your call though.
