Am I big for being almost 28 weeks?

Every time I leave the house random strangers come up to me and ask when I’m due and when I tell them I’m not due until the end on January their response is always “wow that’s a big baby”, “you look like you could pop at any second”, or (my favorite 😒) “are you sure there’s only 1 in there?!”... I don’t feel like I look huge but maybe I am. 🤷🏼‍♀️ What do y’all think?

Nah you look normal. People were telling me "due any day now, huh" when I was only 25 weeks!  But I consistently measured right on target and baby wasn't very big either.

Everyone carries different, my bump would be smaller than yours at 35 weeks but I get the must be a small baby carry on. Babies on track to be a 9 pounder so peoples opinions r irrelevant

I always heard that too. Everyone was convinced I was going to have a 10lb baby. Nope, she was just 7lb when born. I just carried a lot of water weight especially (developed preeclampsia at the very end). I gained 50lb and lost it all by 3months pp.

Ppl are rude.  I’m carrying very similarly to you.  My midwife explained that on my 5”3 body the only place my baby has to go, is out forward.  I’m also short waisted to with the reduced space between my rib cage and hip bones,  going to appear bigger than the norm but I’m totally healthy

This was me at 28w. I got the saaaaame thing. I feel like as soon as you show people love to make comments you’re that I got it too. Everyone carries differently. You look amazing momma

Every woman is different and is going to show differently depending on her body and how big her baby is and how they are positioned at any given time.
I use to get the same comments and it annoyed me just as much. This was me at 28 weeks

No you aren’t to big. All women carry differently and you’re carrying exactly what is normal for you ☺️. I also carry bigger as well mainly due to the fact I am only 5ft. My Daughter was born 7 pounds 7 ounces and I will find out next Monday what my son will weigh 💙
