To test out trigger, or not????

Question

First IUI this morning! My husband’s post-wash count was excellent! He’s been so supportive even when I haven’t been the most pleasant person during this process.
I’m torn on whether to test out my trigger or not. Part of me doesn’t want to & just wait til 11/19 per my doctor’s office...but part of me knows the waiting will make me crazy. Did you test out your trigger injection? Why or why not?

I’m doing my first IUI this cycle and plan on testing it out. I bought a box of 50 test strips for cheap just for this. Just want to do it to track everything and see the progression. I tried explaining this to my husband and he thought it was a weird thing to do. 😄 If we have to do a second IUI I may feel differently.

I tested it out a couple months and didn’t a few months.  I found not testing much less stressful and one less thing to think about.    Just tried to keep my TWW stress free.      Even if you do get a positive early there is the added stress of whether it’s a chemical, are your beta numbers gonna match etc.

I just triggered today w/ timed BD... I was going to test out mine but we will be on vacation so it won’t be possible... I’ll probably test when I get home and maybe bring a test with me just in case I need one. Good luck ladies 💜

Im trying to decide the same thing.  We just did IUI#3 this morning.  I tested out the first 2 times and bfn. So not sure I even wanna waste the tests.  Although,  I might go crazy not testing atleast a few times...lol

I’ve tested it out the past 3 cycles of getting trigger. I will be honest I think it made me kind of even more obsessive BUT I also had a positive still at 13 dpo. If I wouldn’t have tested- I would have thought it was a BFP. So I’m glad I did and still am

I never tested it out. The only time I ever tested at all was after ivf when i had enough symptoms to feelnwuite certain that I was preggo, and sure enough. Otherwise I always felt it was just a waste of money and gets your hopes up unnecessarily. But everyone is different.
