First round of letrozole, can someone dumb it down for me

My doctor told me to begin on the first because my progesterone test last month said I didnt ovulate so I shouldn’t get a period. CD1 on November 1.

2.5 mg of letrozole

1 pill per day for 5 days.

I’m on my CD 5 and took the last pill today too. Today I just started my period. My instructions my dr printed off for me said to BD day 6-13 of my cycle which starts tomorrow through the 13th. However, I’m on my period...if letrozole is helping me ovulate CD6-13, how can i get pregnant if I’m still bleeding day6-13?

Instructions say i need to come in CD17 for progesterone test this round too.

Help me understand someone!!! 🤯
