Rehoming a pet

I need some advice here.

When my uncle died he left behind a sweet puppy.

My parents took her in but then my dad fell ill and my mom struggled to care for her. Well flash forward a few years and I’ve taken the dog when I can I’m young still and rent apartments etc so it’s not always been an option.

But I feel badly she’s been passed around so much and I’m no longer in a position to help. My parents are both older almost 80 my dad is basically dying at this point ...

I’d like to see the dog given to a loving family. I worry because she had some potty issues and can be aggressive. She’s 6 and is truly a sweet dog just with some issues from the past few years.

Are there any organizations I can reach out to ? It’s not an option to go to a shelter. This is the hardest decision to have to make so please don’t make it harder with hate. I just want what’s best for her a loving and stable home.

Please any suggestions?? I’m on the east coast tri state area of the US
