Is this bad parenting?

I just feel drained because I’m with my twins full time, I’m a stay at home mom. And I love them but I just need a break every now and then. Usually I’m with them every minute of the day and I’m exhausted. But right now I’m letting them play in their playroom together without me and I’m downstairs drinking my coffee and relaxing 😬 they’re 3. Idk if this is bad or not. Opinions?

No we all need our breaks and its not bad if the kids are playing together. Dont need to play with our children 24 7 they need to learn play by them self to

Just remember if the twins get to quiet their up to no good. Every time things would get too quiet with my twins they were up to no good and planning things together  lol

It's never a bad thing to teach them independence. My 17-month-old has no problem with independent play. It's not a "break" to me. It's teaching them how to entertain themselves which is a skill they need to learn.

My son is 2 and has a few periods every day when he plays by himself. Not hours, just short chunks of time. It’s good for them and I sometimes need to sort laundry, send an email, place a call, etc.

I have a 8 month old and a 16 month old. They are currently in the playroom by themselves playing. I can’t do it. I was with them 24/7 but I can’t get stuff done like that.

Lol girl listen. I only have one kid. She’s 8. Got various reasons I’m not working right now. And even though I’m by myself during the day at the house, by the time she’s been home from school an hour, I need a break lol. Kids are so draining. No matter their age. My kid never ever stops talking. About everything and nothing. And she is an only child so she thinks it’s my responsibility to be her playmate. You are lucky you’ve got the two so they can play together. 
Don’t ever feel bad for taking time for yourself. Even if that means putting them to bed early or getting a sitter for a couple of hours a week to get your nails done or something. Don’t feel bad. Everyone needs to re charge.

They are three so I think it’s totally fine for them to play alone. I’m a stay at home mom of one baby (a six month old) and I won’t lie I can’t wait until he can play on his own so I can have a break.
