24 hour urine sample

I’m 7 weeks exactly and tomorrow I start my 24 hr pee collecting. I’m so excited to put my pee in a jug every time I have to go. Definitely sarcasm 😂 I’m worried about having protein in my urine obviously but seriously wish I didn’t have to keep my pee in the fridge or take a jug with me every time I go to the bathroom. Has anyone else had to do this? Is it crazy awkward cause I feel like it’s going to be awkward. My five year old already asked what the container was for and when I told her she went “ewww!” 😂
