Broken nose?? How do I know??

My (in-a-few-days-) 14 month old daughter got really excited when daddy came home. She was running everywhere and then she tripped on her own feets I guess and hit her nose on the hard part of the sofa😥😓😓. At first her tip looked just a bit red, it still is but now her nose bridge is also bruised(blueish/purple). When I touch it she doesnt cry, but I'm still worried. How do I know if it is broken or not? And if I bring her to the doctor to check what can I expect? Do they just feel it or do they make a scan/picture?
