In your opinion, what is the maximum age limit on trying for a baby?

I’m almost 35 and I want more kids, but my husband isn’t ready. I don’t mind waiting a little longer, but I don’t want to wait too long to have a second baby. I had my first a month before I turned 33. What would be your ideal “maximum age” to have a baby?

I prefer to be done by 30 but I don't think there's really any maximum age, it depends on the person.

I’ll probably get hate for this, but I think that any older than 36-37 is too much of a risk health-wise. I know there’s LOADS of people having kids when they’re older than that with no complications but it’s just not something I’d want to risk myself.
Also, and I know this is a very silly way of thinking; but I feel like you’d be considered an “old” parent as you kid grows. But that might just be me being used to having a young mother (41). So definitely take that with a grain of salt lol 😬

I just had my second at 37. If we weren't absolutely done at two kids I'd be ok with more up to age 40. But two is my limit financially and mentally.

I just had my first at 39.  Not because I wanted to wait so long, but...them's the breaks.  I've always wanted a big family, so we'll see what we can get.  Have them if you want them, if you're healthy and can provide for them, don't worry about what other people might think.

I said 40 because at some point I want to be done raising kids. Have them moved out and be young enough to still do things. If you have a kid at 40, you'll be 65 when they're 25.
It's fine with me if people want to have kids when they're older, it's just not for me!

I had my first at 37, not for lack of trying. We ttc for 6 years. The older you get the harder it becomes. Friend of mine got pregnant the first try around 30 but the second still isn’t there and they’ve been trying for years. 
On the other hand I know two 40 year olds that conceived easily. You won’t know until you try but your chances will decrease with time.

I’m 35 and having our last in a month. I think menopause is when you stop. It’s your bodies way saying you are done. It’s no one else’s business when you have your kids.

For me, 43 is going to be the last year I’d consider it. Im 41 now. I’m pretty sure I’m done having babies. Had my first at age 36, and can’t see myself having another one anytime soon, mainly because I am single and have no desire to be in a relationship.
