In a situation like this, no I would not. Not witnessing birth doesn’t make him any less of a father, but it will greatly decrease your stress as you’re undergoing major surgery

Do what makes you comfortable. You're the one delivering. Like yes it's his kid too, but if you dont want him there tell him he can wait in the waiting room. Have another support person with you.

If its a schedule csection yes someone can be in there like the father, otherwise no one can be in there, if it was a emergency csection. But you have the right to not let anyone in the OR
