LO has terrible tummy issues. Considering switching to bottles. 😕

LO is 10 days old. I am breastfeeding but she wasn’t getting a good latch so I’ve been using nipple shields. I noticed that she is taking in ALOT of air and during and after feedings you can hear the air moving and gurgling around in her stomach and she gets extremely uncomfortable and cries. Sometimes her cries are inconsolable for 2 hours. After feedings I’ve really been focusing on sitting her up and burping her, tummy massages, and bicycle kicks. I’ve tried Gripe Water but I’m not sure she has swallowing mastered yet and ends up throwing it up. Last night I had her laying on her back in her bassinet and she started spitting up thick yellow mucus.

I feel terrible and I am wondering if she is getting too much air from the nipple shields. I’ve thought about exclusively pumping and bottle feeding her but Idk if it’s too early to introduce her to a bottle. I just want her to be comfortable. She barely sleeps at night because laying on her back is uncomfortable and she’s full of gas.
