Do you consider being a mum a job?

I saw a post on Facebook today about whether people thought being a full time mom is a job, to me I don’t think being a mom is a job, you don’t get paid to do so! In my eyes it’s a blessing!! 
Just wondered how many people considered it a job or not 🙈🤷🏻‍♀️

Just because there's no pay doesn't mean it isn't a job. Yes, being a mom is a blessing, but it is also a 24/7 commitment and its HARD work.

It’s a natural thing to do and to provide.

Yea it's great being a mom and even nicer to be a stay at home mom, I've been doing it for 3 years and I love my son more than life itself BUT it's work, hard work! Exhausting, over worked, underappreciated at times, isolating, lonely, frustrating. I've worked and taken care of the house before my son, I gotta say, staying at home is HARD, I love it but it's definitely not for the weak.

Being a mom is a job, and a lot of people don’t see it that way. I’m a SAHM. My husband works all day but guess what, I do too. And I don’t get time off like he does. I don’t even get breaks like he does. I’m always “working” 
You do get paid. I get paid in hugs and kisses. I love being a mom. It’s better than the nursing home
