When did you all have your first appointment with the midwife?

I'm nearly 10 weeks and haven't met the midwife yet but lots of people I know had appointments with their midwifes at 7 and 8 weeks. Any information would be great 😊

I had my booking appointment with the midwife at 10 weeks they ask you questions about the health of you and your family but I didn't meet my proper midwife til I was around 16 to 18 weeks they book your first scan and everything at the booking appointment but just make sure your gp referred you because they kept losing my form and I ended up making my own appointment I also had to book my own scan because the6 forgot to do that too 🙄

I’m in Ontario Canada and my appt was close to 11 weeks both times.

There’s only one midwife in my area. I’m 30 weeks. And I had to ASK to meet her. Finally will get to meet her this coming Tuesday. But my OB told me I’d have to give birth on a Wednesday if I wanted the only midwife to be there cause that’s when she works🙄so annoyed😑

With my first I didn't get my referral to the midwife till 20 weeks and then my second was 16 weeks and now my third 16 weeks again x

I met her at 6 weeks, but only because I had had a previous miscarriage. Otherwise the earliest she would have seen me was 8-12 weeks.
