How much milk do you know to leave with the daycare when you go back to work?

The general rule is 1-1.5oz per hour no matter what age. The amount typically stays about he same from 1-6 months and then decreases when solids are introduced. 
Make sure your daycare is pace feeding the bottles to protect your breastfeeding relationship.

I printed the Milky Mamma rules for paced feeding for at my daughter’s daycare. I worked at the daycare for years as a preschool teacher. I know for a fact they weren’t educated enough on how to properly feed breast milk. Last week I started a new job full time so it’s the first week away for her and sure enough she was eating more than normal. I think she hit a growth spurt, but I was stressed beyond belief. I sent extra frozen pouches in case they would need to thaw and use them, but if they didn’t they would be there in case they ever need them. The owner/my old boss/friend has been doing a lot of research which makes me feel better that she will know more and can pass the information on to everyone that will be feeding my daughter.

I always leave extra if possible. Growth spurts can come out of nowhere! I usually leave 20oz for a full day. That's what i pump when he's not nursing (2 or 3 pumps during the day and 1 right before bed).

I would leave a lot right away. That way they will the more than enough and can get a good idea of how much baby will need. Also, be prepared for baby to eat a different amount than at home.
