Decorations in place of tree?

I’m not putting the tree up this year and I’m pretty bummed. I love putting up a Christmas tree. But we don’t have the room with all my toddlers toys and I don’t want him pulling on it or anything. And this Christmas is just going to really suck this year... I just want to do something to make things a little better. What decorations do you put up instead of a tree?

You dont need a big tree weve had one for 11yrs and its a 3 footer. Buy a small one a place it on top of your kitchen counter or have your husband build a floating shelf and put it there

You can get a small table top sized tree or get a wire tree for a tabletop or make your own on the wall with Christmas lights and hang some ornaments on it.

I’ve seen a wall tree. Maybe have your toddler help you make a family hand tree on the wall you can use command strips to hang the ornaments on it if you want. The little ones are easy to hide. Also the cords to ceiling fans are also a great place to hang ornaments you want to display. I actually do the latter year round if it goes with the decor of the room and isn’t too seasonal. I have a cowboy hat and boots hanging from my fan in my bedroom. There’s a cross that says Fath hanging from the fan in the living room. 
This is a tree 🌳 my first grade class did last year for lent. The colored ones are supposed to be flowers 🌸. I have seen people do Christmas trees though and if you choose not to use your ornaments then you can have them put their Christmas list on the paper ornaments
