Maternity winter coat!?

Question

So i have a dilemma. So i live in quebec canada, and it get pretty cold in winter. So now that my belly is getting better, i have no winter coats that fit anymore.
So a friend of mine offer to lend me one of her coat that are 2 or 3 size bigger than mine. And my grand mother offer me to give me 200$ to buy a coat.
So should i buy a new maternity coat or should a take the one from my friend?

If your planning on more kids I would just buy one. If this is your last I would just use one of your friends coats.

I got one from old navy.  nothing fancy but it will work for the Wisconsin weather

I'm using a wool sweater turned backwards over the belly and then a big scarf for my neck, chest and over the belly with just the top two buttons done on my normal parka. I've never been this warm before in winter in Iceland.

I’d borrow one from a friend since you may not need a maternity coat in the future again and it likely won’t fit you after the baby is born. It’s freezing here in MN too but I don’t want to buy a new coat unless I really need one.

I live in upstate NY so I know all about that kind of winter! I’d buy one and if you won’t need it again, sell it online when you’re done. Better yet, look for a used one online! These winters can be long and you deserve to stay toasty!

I live in Alaska and I’m just wearing my husbands. I actually still fit in my ski jacket. I wouldn’t want to spend that kind of money on myself at this point in Pregnancy.
