If your significant other lied about this... would you be upset?

So when we first started talking he was "in college at Kennesaw state university." And he "got a GI bill from his dad to pay for it."

Fast forward to almost a year later and I'm talking to his best friend about a time when he was "in college"

His friend looks up at him and goes, "oh is she talking about when you were at Job Corps?" And my SO responded, "yeah."

So I get curious and I look up what that is, and it's basically a government funded program to get class time and work experience.

So he never went to KSU, it's a free program and they actually pay you an allowance when you stay there so he didnt need any money at all...

I'm just hurt and I dont even know what to say.

Like i know this doesnt sound so bad but he has lied about this though extensive details for almost a whole year....

Like, why couldnt he just tell me the truth....

And now I'm terrified because he is such a good liar, idk if there is anything else he could be lying about now...

My heart is honestly broken.

We talked and dated for over 3 months while he was still up there and he wasnt even where I thought he was.

And we have been friends for 6+ years.
